I've seen much mention of How to be a Rockstar Freelancer recently. It really is a perfect time for me to get the book. I'm starting up my first "official" blog, Colourisma.com, where the premise is to help seasoned artists and beginners alike gain inspiration and provide tips from pro artists (hopefully to be launched in January).

One day, I hope to be a freelance artist myself, making my own hours and deciding on my own projects- all while getting paid! A dream job for me to be sure. Even though a lot of these freelance guides don't specifically apply to the art field, I still try to read as much as I can to make the entry into freelance a painless as possible! :)

Hi,

This is really cool that your giving this stuff away. I have the Typography Workbook. I bought it last Christmas and its beautiful. I have it stored back in the states. I'm living down in Venezuela and there is no Starbucks here.

I've been Freelancing for a year now and I've been launching my own projects recently as well. My first blog is aiburn.com. Its a Adobe Illustrator tutorial blog.

I could really use the Freelancing book and I'm a big fan of Colis and company.

I graduated last year and the one problem I had with my school is they did nothing to teach us the "business" of design and I am always looking for new resources from ppl in the know.

wow - I stumbled upon this blog by mistake but happen to notice your holiday book giveaway contest. Yes, I totally agree that the new "How to be a Rockstar Freelancer" is just every graphic / web or any professional needs. I purchased my own e-book copy online the second it was released and I'm just about done. I definitely recommend this handy book as it has gave me more reason to be happy to get up @ 10am and not worry about the morning rush hour.
